Program manager | Landscape Restoration & Climate-Resilient Agriculture Specialist
Co-founder of Sinrex, Semenyo Komla Nyakokpa is an agronomist and forest landscape restoration specialist with over 12 years of experience advancing sustainable land management and climate resilience across Central and West Africa. He has worked in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Togo, Senegal, Ghana, and the United States, with expertise spanning reforestation, agroforestry, peatland and mangrove restoration, biochar systems, and community-based natural resource management.
He has collaborated with governments, universities, NGOs, and international partners—including the U.S. Forest Service—designing and strengthening nursery systems, restoring degraded lands, and building local capacity at scale. His work bridges science and implementation, ensuring that restoration efforts are technically sound, economically viable, and socially embedded.
At Sinrex Sustainable Solutions, Semenyo leads restoration strategy and field implementation, translating ecological science into scalable, community-driven solutions that deliver measurable climate, biodiversity, and livelihood impact.
